Course Description

This course is designed to help students expand their understanding of the history of the tapestry arts, introduce new weaving skills, tapestry loom technologies, and increase their design confidence and capabilities. Students will learn basic tapestry techniques to help create their artistic works.  Students will weave a sampler, then design and weave a small, finished piece.  This class will feature smaller, portable frame looms supplied by the instructor.

Students are encouraged to bring their own looms from home.
