Course Description

This 120-hour Residential Electrician course prepares students for entry-level positions in the electrical trade with a focus on residential wiring and installation. Using G-W’s Residential Electrician curriculum, students gain knowledge in electrical theory, blueprint reading, and safety procedures while developing hands-on skills in wiring circuits, installing outlets, switches, lighting systems, and following code requirements for residential construction. Upon successful completion, students earn a 120-hour training card and are prepared to pursue the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER/NCE/NSE) credential—an industry-recognized certification that demonstrates their readiness for employment in the electrical field.
