Interested in a Career in The Construction Industry?

Let Charter Oak Adult Education prepare you with the fundamental skills and technical instruction to embark on a carpentry career.  Charter Oak Adult Education’s Carpentry Trades program offers students hands-on training and education needed to qualify for apprenticeships and secure a career in the carpentry profession.  

Carpenter Trades

If you’re interested in the carpenter trades and enjoy working with your hands, this class is for you! Taught by qualified professionals with real-world work experience, this hands-on class utilizes Career Connections curriculum to teach you the most up-to-date carpentry skills that are in demand in today’s construction industry. Students in our Carpenter Trades class have the opportunity to earn their Level 1 & 2 certifications from the Southwest Carpenters Union.  Upon completion of Level 2 certification, students receive a letter of recommendation from the Southwest Carpenters Union.   Becoming a union tradesperson can be a highly rewarding career. The benefits and pay are good and students are able to start their career at an early age, without the worry of student loan debt.

This course will run April 8 through June 19, 2024.
