Course Description

Medical billing and coding classes cover the historical background, structure, and organization of coding systems, as well as regulatory guidelines, documentation, and basic components of clinical documentation. Students will master insurance claim processes, HIPAA compliance, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. This course will prepare you to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification exam. 

This course will run January 5 through March 26, 2026.
