Course Description
This Security+ Certification Prep Course provides the basic knowledge needed to plan, implement, and maintain information security in a vendor-neutral format. This includes risk management, host and network security, authentication and access control systems, cryptography, and organizational security.
As a course completion requirement, students will sit for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam (SYO-701), and will receive a free retake if needed.
The CompTIA Security+ certification is the leading entry-level IT certification for those looking to break into the exciting field of cybersecurity.
Prerequisite:
Completion of CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+, CCNA or at least one year working in the information technology industry
